Saudi Arabia was invited by Greece to attend the European meeting having just opened a regional center in the Saudi Kingdom. Aleksandra Gardasevic-Slavuljica, Chair of the World Tourism Network (WTN) Balkan Interest Group, attended the UNWTO meeting representing Montenegro. The UNWTO Europe Commission met against the backdrop of the latest UNWTO data and perspectives on international tourism and in the context of continued calls for  coordination to restart tourism to support not only the sector but also wider economic and social recovery.
