Rescue teams are asking for landowners to search their land on the Comeragh mountain range for a female mountain runner who has been missing for almost 24 hours.
The female runner, understood to be in her 40s, was last seen or heard from at about 12.45pm on Sunday.
She was due to return from her run on the Coumshingaun Loop trail near the Tipperary-Waterford border at 2pm. When her husband did not hear from her he alerted emergency services at 3pm.

South East Mountain Rescue, rescue helicopter RII7, Civil Defence, the Search and Rescue Dog Association and members of other mountain rescue teams have been involved in the search today.

A major search operation is underway in the Comeragh mountains for a female moutain runner who is missing.
The 37 year old was last seen at around quarter to one on Sunday. She was due to return from her run along the Coumshingaun Loop trail at 2pm but when her husband did not hear from her he alerted emergency services at 3pm.
South East Mountain Rescue and the rescue helicopter RII7 were alerted yesterday at around 3pm and continued their search this morning at 7am for the woman with assistance from Civil Defence, the Search and Rescue Dog Association and members of other mountain rescue teams.

SEARCH TEAMS AND a rescue helicopter are searching the Comeragh Mountains for a missing trail runner.
The woman, who is in her 40s, was reported missing on Sunday by a relative at 3pm.
According to Liz Browne, a spokeswoman for the South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association, search operations were hampered yesterday by mist and fog on the Waterford mountain range.
