‘Unanswered Prayers,’ on the death and life of Truman Capote, first appeared in the February 9, 1976, issue of New York Magazine. ‘My life is so strange it’s not like anybody else’s,’ Capote said.
The group of rich and glamorous women includes Babe Paley, Slim Keith, Ann Woodward, CZ Guest, Gloria Guinness, Marella Agnelli, Lee Radziwill, and Pamela Harriman.
