NGOs document forced evictions in May and September 2015, preceded by the killing in 2014 of a Shuar indigenous leader opposing Chinese mining project âMiradorâ, owned by Ecuacorriente (part of Corriente Resources, which is part of China Railway Construction Company â CRCC - and Tongling).
