more contract jobs, people tend to prefer full-time with benefits. but a lot of people we talked to think that unemployment rate may get down as low as 8.5% by the end of 2011 and will really see some progress in 2012. but for a lot of americans, that means they ll still be out of work and a lot of americans out there who are also working part-time jobs that would like to work full-time jobs. it s not going to be the type of growth we want to see, but it will be better. let s talk about the stock market. millions of americans have money in 401(k)s and iras and hard not to check them every day. the dow is up 11%. can we expect more of that in 2011? you know, that one is a little more per plexing. it s been a remarkably good year for the stock market when you consider how the economy has done. one reason is you look at europe and the emerging markets and they haven t done quite so well. i think people are a little more mixed on the stock market, but the reality is if the economy is l
