Of course thats 2012 chevron fire is still very fresh in peoples mind. So there was some concern when they saw this flair that lasted nearly an hour. Chevron said it was a normal flair. The flames could be seem s if miles. It means theres something not working as normalled. Reporter a spokesperson said that a flair is a way to release some of the chevron released this statement. It said in part we had a process unit that needed to be depressurized. The flair is a Safety System that allows us to safely shut down a unit. Flames. It is not the first time a suspicious fire took place here. Fremont firefighters didnt know it but the fire was just the beginning of a busy morning. The call came in at 2 40 and a fire alarm at the elementary went off where firefighters found flames burning away on the outside building and then smoke was coming from warm springs park, the womans bathroom was damaged by fire and smoke and blocked off. All three fires were a quarter of a mile from each other. If they continue to start fires they usually have a strong interest and they could graduate to something more severe than what we have now.
