Holby City as a brand new character with a tragic secret.
The former Kush Kazemi actor will make his debut in the medical procedural next week as Holby s Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon, Eli Ebrahimi.
Speaking to
Digital Spy and other media recently, Davood explained that while Eli initially seems intensely focused on his work, viewers will ultimately find out he s got challenging circumstances at home too. I ve been really lucky actually. With a show like
Holby, your focus is predominately in the hospital and his story is very work-focused, but we also have a look at the domestic side, he hinted.

In his final episode, which was broadcast on April 19, the character was killed when he was pushed in front of a London Underground train by Gray Atkins during his attempt to flee Walford.
Speaking about his new role, Ghadami said: I am absolutely thrilled to be joining such a brilliant show.
Holby City is renowned for its quality storytelling and I m excited for the audience to meet Eli and watch the drama that unfolds on his arrival!
