We dont know the exact time, but peter is a former u. S. Ranger who served in iraq in 2007 and returned to the middle east as an aid worker. And about a year ago he was captured by isis while delivering medical supplies to the syrians. He is known as a driven humanitarian with a genuine desire to help the refugees and the victims of the war there. His parents ed and paula asked that their son be remembered for the important work he did and the love he shared with his family and friends.
