Certain big funds were selling some tech stocks to raise cash to buy twitter. Tonight and tomorrow so the nasdaq was down 8 points and s p 500 up 7. 5 points. Very close to its alltime high as well. Meanwhile, the dow crossing a fresh alltime high and s p ending near a record of its own. Bob pisani anybody expecting this strong of a day today . What was behind it . You know this is a very weird day, because youre right. The dow is at an all taif im high and look around and say, gee, everything must be doing great anticipate thats not the case. We had some very odd dislocations. Put up the full screen. The bledsoereadth was poor, flat at the nyse. May have been negative towards the end.
