And i see this resolution, then, as a means of trying to tie all of these together, including the issues that commissioner chung has raised, which should be part of the work being done on the part of black and black transgenders. In rent history the black community was red lined to the out skirts of the city. Japanese americans were sent to internment camps. They have been targeted and most recently the newly latin students. The trauma continues to exist in our communities today. This is not the america we envisioned but this can be the San Francisco that we need to correct the wrongs of history.
