L-R: Mrs Rebecca Lennon, Toby from Year 3, Linnet Hutchinson from Brighstone Grange, residents of The Grange, and Avyukth and Charlotte from Year 5 A FESTIVE mission undertaken by Brighstone CE Primary School has brought Christmas cheer to elderly residents in the local community. Residents at Brighstone Grange Care Home received a slew of cards and letters from pupils at the school. With carol singing and care home visits cancelled due to Covid restrictions, pupils set to work by writing letters and drawing pictures for older people living in the local area. The school teamed up with Brighstone’s Community Hub Co-ordinator to identify people living alone in the village who would benefit from messages from the children.
