For medicare paying for any Services Provided behind bars. Thst also a statutory provision that if youre on parole or probation, you cannot receive medicare benefit. On the medicaid side, theres something known as the inmate exception, which goes back again to the original finding of medicaid, which states if youre an inmate of a Public Institution as the exact statutory language, you cannot receive medicaid benefits at all. So again, one of the challenges going back to my comment about islands, and what im hearing you say is we need to figure out creatively how we build bridges to those islands.
