Talks over a new collective bargaining agreement for the commerce sector collapsed on Tuesday. Service Union United (PAM) will consequently follow through with a strike covering over 160 grocery shops and 16,000 workers starting on Thursday, 9 February.
The Finnish Commerce Federation on Tuesday said it has no choice but to respond to the “disproportionate” strikes announced by Service Union United (PAM).
According to financial analyst Hafiz Ismail, the current Minister of Finance should be dismissed. A new government is to review his finance policies “that turned into collecting fees and taxes without providing services”. Various fees were increased on Monday.
