commencement speeches for everybody else. hopefully inspired more. inspired more. when did you decide that you were going to do this? you know, as we see here tonight through this whole program, there s nothing more beautiful than unliberated human spirit. and i grew up in a community and a family in denver, colorado where it was focused on how do you bring more to your community. and as i thought about giving this commencement address, the idea was what is that these 400 young men and their families need and how can i liberate their spirit? and so i thought about my 8 or 9 generations in this country and thought this burden of student debt is heavy on most people and it s disproportionately heavy on these young african-american men. they have more debt. they have less opportunity over their lifetimes to earn capital. so, this is a great way to liberate 400 families and contribute back to the united states. what a great start you ve
