You all received questions that i posted and im really interested in the topic because i also teach a seminar on the 1950s and of course thats when this takes place and i think just looking at polio, really, so many different issues that affected that decade. I was reading the new york review of poobooks and there is review of a novel that Woody Guthrie wrote, a novel called house of earth. Doesnt get a very good review.
