The Columbia County Quorum Court met Monday with the purpose of establishing two ordinances as well as choosing a delegate for the Quorum Court Association. Justice of the Peace Terry Williams was chosen. An ordinance to create a sub-fund of the Arkansas Relief Plan Act called the ARPA Revenue Replacement Fund to help with tracking funds appropriated from the ARPA passed unanimously. Justices of the Peace amended the budget for the purchase of a body scanner for the county detention center. The amendment to the budget made the cost $192,061.20.
