HUDSON Police say it s an especially tough time for seniors. Many are isolated during the pandemic and so officers wanted to do something to help.
This year, once again, Hudson police officers are taking part in No-Shave November. The guys like to have a break from shaving every day, per our policy, said PBA Vice President Nicolas Pierro with a smile. It gets to be a lot, so it gives us a little break. And it gives us the opportunity to raise some money for local charities.
This year, they re giving to local senior citizens. We all sat around to come up with a charity for this year, and when we heard that, everyone s heart was broken that our seniors would need basic necessities, said Hudson Police Chief Edward Moore.
