A GRANDAD may never be able to live independently again following a serious injury sustained on holiday. Gary Cotton, 57, has been receiving life-saving round-the-clock hospital care since he suffered a fall from an 8ft fence in Marbella in August last year. On the final night of his holiday Mr Cotton, from Dovercourt, climbed a fence in an attempt to get into his hotel room after leaving his keys with his roommates. However, the grandad-of-five lost his footing before plummeting to the ground and landing on his head - leaving him unconscious. He was rushed to a hospital in Malaga where doctors put him in an induced coma.
