In countries throughout the world, germany, scandinavia, it costs zero dollars to go to college. They understand it is an investment for the future of the country. I will introduce legislation shortly that will make public colleges and public universities tuition free. That is a good thing for our people and economy. Making it affordable and ending that outrage that so many children are struggling with with this huge student debt, this is about changing National Priorities. You do not give tax breaks to billionaires, you do not spend more than we should on the military, and then tell working families, sorry, your kid cannot go to college. I am very much in favor of changing National Priorities and paying attention to these young people. Free tuition is great, but how do we pay these bills .
