The 85-year-old Municipal Auditorium is in bad shape. And no matter how Charleston decides to proceed, creating a usable venue will likely cost over $25 million.

Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin is expecting the final report on the Municipal Auditorium to be complete the first week of April 2024. The building has been closed since February due to safety issues.
