Crowds return to see bison and longhorns at San Angelo State Park

SAN ANGELO In a sign that things are slowly returning to normal in Tom Green County, dozens of people showed up to a viewing area at San Angelo State Park on Saturday to catch an up-close glimpse of some of the wildlife roaming the land.
Slowly trotting up to the viewing area with a little encouragement from a park vehicle distributing food, a small herd of bison and longhorns treated visitors to the park on Saturday to an unobstructed view. The event was accompanied by information about the animals from San Angelo State Park Interpretative Ranger Bonnie Wallace.
