Missouri State s new $2K+ scholarship aims to help diverse future leaders Claudette Riley, Springfield News-Leader © Submitted Student African American Brotherhood CEO Dr. Tyrone Bledsoe, center, and two Missouri State University SAAB executive leaders present at the Rotary Club of Springfield Southeast meeting. Missouri State University announced a new scholarship Monday for incoming freshmen who participate in the Student African American Brotherhood program during their high school years. The national headquarters for SAAB, as it is known, moved to the MSU campus in mid-2020. The goal is to help young men from diverse backgrounds pursue and obtain their higher education goals.
