A 37-year-old Christian theology lecturer at the Methodist-run Cliff College in England has been dismissed after he shared his views in a tweet saying “homosexuality is invading the church.”
Dr. Aaron Edwards, a Christian theologian has been fired by a Methodist Bible college in the U.K. over his tweets in opposition to homosexuality, his attorneys claimed. It was learnt that the college also threatened to report Dr. Aaron who taught theology at Cliff College in Derbyshire, England as a terrorist. Fox News reports that he was dismissed from the school after being accused of "bringing the college into disrepute" on social media last month, when he tweeted, "Homosexuality is invading the church," on February 19.
