Cleveland’s Dittohouse brand collaborates with Guatemalan collective for new textile collection

CLEVELAND, Ohio Modern bursts of color meet ancient weaving techniques in a new line of textiles from Cleveland’s Dittohouse brand, in collaboration with Trama Textiles, a cooperative in Guatemala. It’s the first collection to arrive from Dittohouse in two years.
Each piece was designed by Dittohouse founder Molly Fitzpatrick, then created by Guatemalan weavers using backstrap looms. This style of weaving uses the body as a tension point for the loom, with artists pulling yarn between themselves and a post while they weave.
