Puppied up, I’m spending more of my time outside on walks. Lovely, for the most part – but incredibly depressing, too. Because everywhere I go, I encounter rubbish: plastic bottles washed up on the riverbank, empty burger cartons chucked by the side of the road and – my personal worst hatred – daintily tied bags of dog poo hanging from every other tree branch. (Honestly, dog poo on the pavement is bad enough, but if you’re going to bother bagging it, why not then bin it?)
