The roughly 8,100 drivers that cross the John A. Roebling Bridge each day will need to settle into a different route.
On Monday, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reduced traffic on the suspension bridge to one lane, as crews prepare for a 10-month restoration project. On Feb. 15, the bridge will close entirely to all vehicle traffic. KYTC expects to reopen the bridge to vehicles in November.

Two separate crashes Thursday night resulted in closings of the Combs-Hehl bridge and the Clay Wade Bailey bridge for several hours.
A five-vehicle collision blocked the right two lanes on Interstate 275 eastbound at State Route 52 West Kellogg Avenue and closed the eastbound highway for several hours.
Injuries were reported, with at least one person transported to Mercy Health Anderson Hospital, according to police communications.
In a tweet, the Cincinnati Police Department cited serious injuries as a result of the crash. Officers with the Cincinnati and Fort Thomas police departments responded to the scene.
