Spencer, IA (KICD)– A “changing of the guard” is underway at the Clay County Administration Building as long time Auditor Marge Pitts enters into retirement.
Pitts looked back at her years in the office at Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting noting some of the changes she has seen over the past two decades.
Pitts says the last few weeks of her time as auditor has given her even more appreciation than she already had for the members of her team.
