make the argument for me that more money would dramatically improve the the performance of your students. well, in the first place, i can give you a personal example of how smaller class sizes help. please. my daughter started out in a classroom of, i think, 36 kindergartens. she had been in an all-day pre-k type of situation for two years prior to going kindergarten. she goes into this cast of thousands. and tanks, completely tanks. she, you know, desooids she doesn t want to read, she doesn t want to learn, she doesn t she wants nothing to do with education. then they pass 20-1 and she went into a 20-1 classroom with an absolutely fabulous teacher named phyllis stone. and she became one of the top readers. now in her freshman year at sarah lawrence college there in bronxville, new york. nice.
