POLICE REPORTS FOR APRIL 27, 2021 By John Smathers Apr 27, 2021 4:06 PM Brookville and Pine Creek fire crews responded to a report of a tractor-trailer rollover crash on North Fork Bride on I80 near mile marker 80 early Monday evening. According to ExploreJeffersonPA.com, the crash occurred around 5:15 pm and a portion of the tractor-trailer was hanging off the interstate. Debris from the crash had been spread over I80 and in the creek. State Police, Brookville Police, and Jefferson County EMS also responded to the scene. It is unclear at this time if anyone was injured in the crash. State Police in Clarion say a New Bethlehem man was arrested on Friday in Corsica following a pursuit on State Route 66.

COVID-19 UPDATE 12/16: County cases again in triple digits; 4 deaths reported Four more Butler County residents have died due to COVID-19, and the county again hit triple digits in new cases. On Wednesday, Butler County added 129 new confirmed cases as well as four deaths, according to data released Wednesday by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Wednesday s new cases is the fourth time in the last seven days the county has reached more than 100 cases for a single-day addition.
