The Clare County Sheriff’s Department says someone reported that two children were almost abducted at the Harrison City Park around 2 p.m.
The suspect is described as driving a newer style royal blue Dodge Ram, 2 door extended cab pickup.
The driver is believed to be between 50 and 60 years old.
He was wearing a blue flannel shirt and blue jeans.
Deputies were told the vehicle was also seen at Wilson State Park around the same time.

Clare County deputies Huckstein, Parks, Heugel, and Guthrie, along with dispatcher Melissa Schmidt are being honored for saving a man from taking his own life.
On Apr. 28 at approximately 2:49 a.m. central dispatch received a call about a man on an overpass with a noose around his neck, preparing to jump.
Deputies were able to talk the man off of the ledge and transported him to a nearby hospital.
The Clare County Sheriff’s Department says they have seen many suicides and drug overdoses in the past year, and say they are here to help those in need no matter who it is.
