CALOOCAN CITY, May 19 (PIA) Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Chairperson Prospero De Vera said the vaccination of students will be discussed in the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) meeting this week.
“There are countries in other parts of the world that are reviewing their policy and thinking of prioritizing the vaccination of the students so that they can go back to their face-to-face classes,” De Vera stated during the CHED press briefing on Tuesday, May 18.
The higher education chairman cites that in some observations in other countries, the mental health of students are getting affected and they’d like students to go out of their homes more frequently. And they see that the possible solution to that is to vaccinate them.
