Mayor jim kenney intends to use the millions raised for philadelphias pre k initiative, rec centers, other programs and the controversial decision to kick money into the general fu fund. Of course mayor kenney quiet pleased but not everyone is happy. Certainly a long road to get here, but this is the beginning of the process of changing the narrative of poverty in our ci city. They are concerned that they wont get as much money as they first thought despite the fact that they say theyve been operating for quite sometime with hardly any help from the city.
