Gardiner, Hallowell schools prepare Thanksgiving baskets for area families
Both Gardiner Area High School and Hall-Dale Middle and High School have seen an increase in need for and support from community members.

When the organization that has helped Hall-Dale Middle and High School put together Thanksgiving baskets for families over the holiday was unable to do so this year, school councilor Tara Kierstead emailed staff in search of any other leads.
She was hoping someone might know an organization that could donate some local food or a place that might donate money.

KITTERY - John Drisko, principal of R.W. Traip Academy, has announced the co-valedictorians and Latin honors students for the Class of 2021.
Commencement exercises are slated for Friday, June 11 at 5 p.m. at Fort Foster in Kittery, Maine. The rain date is June 14. Ryan Eldridge, television personality and host of the DIY Network television show, Maine Cabin Masters, will offer the keynote address. A ticket is required for admission.

Other activities included FIRST Robotics; Skills USA; Cutis Lake soup kitchen volunteer; Sanford Mainers volunteer; Holy Family Church altar server; Holy Family Church food pantry volunteer.
Jacob was accepted to the University of Maine; University of New Hampshire; University of New Haven and the Maine Maritime Academy. He plans to major in mechanical engineering technology and plans to attend the University of Maine, in Orono, Maine.
