The government s job portal saw a three-fold increase in vacancies to 10.9 million in FY24, marking the highest mobilization since its launch in 2015. The number of jobseekers shortlisted increased 53% to 8.72 million, with finance and insurance sector having the highest number of vacancies at 4.66 million. The data also revealed a surge in low-skilled and low-paid jobs, with 6.88 million jobs posted for 12th pass job seekers.
