COPE leader Mosiuoa Lekota announced the termination of Makhubele s membership on Monday, after she was seen on posters campaigning for a new multi-party alliance named the South African Rainbow Alliance.
Party president, Mosioua Lekota, said while it had considered forming part of the alliance, Colleen Makhubele was not given the go-ahead to sign up the party.
COPE leader Mosioua Lekota axed Colleen Makhubele on Monday for announcing that the party had joined a newly formed political alliance, the South African Rainbow Alliance (SARA), without his sign-off.
