泉州林业局答"采伐改造桉树林保护水源地"：力争5年完成|林业局

泉州市林业局在答复函中对刘三川委员表示，《关于加快全市速生林改造、保护水源地的建议》（第2021368号）由我单位会同市水利局办理。现将有关情况汇总答复如下：一、速生林（桉树）发展现状泉州市地处亚热带季风气候区，热量丰富，雨量充沛，发展速生林（桉树）具有较好的自然条件。随着科技进步，桉树新品种选育和栽培技术研究取得突破，大幅度提高了桉树的产量和效益，增强了群众造林致富的信心，南安市、安溪县、惠安县、泉港区、永春县等地一些群众和企业踊跃参与桉树造林，推动我市桉树人工林的发展。目前，全市桉树人工林面积约3.63万公顷，占全市林地面积的5.3%（林地面积68.34万公顷），占全市人工林面积9.1%（人工林39.81万公顷）。二、速生林（桉树）发展存在问题三、速生林改造主要采取的措施近年来，市林�
