Goalkeeper Trafford, 18, was named in City s 22-man squad for the quarter-final second leg by boss Pep Guardiola. Trafford, from Greysouthen near Cockermouth, was the Premier League club s third goalkeeper for the fixture, with Ederson starting and Zack Steffen in reserve. It meant a place on the bench in Signal Iduna Park for the Cumbrian, as City won 2-1 to seal a 4-2 aggregate victory thanks to goals from Riyad Mahrez and Phil Foden.
