Mayor Dee Margo on Saturday amended the city of El Paso’s emergency directive to allow restaurants to operate in accordance with Gov. Greg Abbott’s orders.
Previously, El Paso restaurants had been ordered to close to dine-in service at 10 p.m.
The move comes after the Texas Supreme Court issued an order against the city of Austin and Travis County, as well as amended pleadings filed against El Paso County by the Texas Attorney General, the city of El Paso said in a news release.
