65-year-old Hasina Begum who had gone to Pakistan 18 years ago to meet her husband s relatives but landed up in a Pakistani jail after she lost her passport, returned to India on Tuesday after Aurangabad police filed a report on the matter.
She was received by her relatives and Aurangabad police officials upon her return here. I went through a lot of hardships and I am feeling a sense of peace after returning to my country. I am feeling as if I am in heaven. I was imprisoned forcefully in Pakistan, she said.

A 28-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death by three unidentified persons near a liquor store in Maharashtra s Aurangabad city, police said on Friday.
The incident took place at Piya Market area of Aurangpura, where the victim Sameer Khan had gone to a liquor store late on Thursday night, an official from City Chowk police station said.
Three unidentified accused entered into an argument with the victim for unknown reasons and stabbed him with a knife in the ensuing argument, the official said.

Another person who had accompanied the victim to the shop was injured in the attack, while the victim was declared dead when he was taken to a government hospital, he said.

JAMMU, Jan 15: Police today resorted to mild lathicharge and took scores of Congress leaders and workers led by JKPCC president GA Mir into custody after minor scuffle on Residency Road, when they were marching towards Raj Bhawan from Congress headquarters Saheedi Chowk, Jammu.
The PCC chief, Ghulam Ahmad Mir and others senior leaders broke the police barricades and the enthusiastic Congress workers broke the Police cordon at several places enroute and forced their march ahead. However, they were not allowed to move and then packed in vehicles and took them to DPL, Gandhi Nagar.
