A school in southside received a threatening message this week, supposedly from isis. Hargrave military academy in chatham got the message on tuesday. Hargrave touts itself as americas premier military boarding school primarily for seventh through 12th graders. The schools president says they immediately got in touch with local Law Enforcement after receiving the message. Now, that investigation includes other state and federal agencies. Yesterday, the school held assemblies with cadets and employees. They also sent a message to parents. Other Law Enforcement have increased patrols on campus, too. There was an open house planned for this weekend but its been cancelled. All 247 cadets will be allowed to go home through the weekend if theyd like.
