You can see the ladder leading up to the second floor Apartment Unit there now just boarding it up. The assistant fire chief says smoking materials, specifically a cigarette butt is believed to be the cause here. Thanks to a working smoke alarm and a neighbors quick action, no one else was hurt. You see a broken window but no real sign of a second floor Apartment Fire and loss of life on mosby woods drive. Firefighters found a man inside a second floor bedroom and identified him William Patton. They pulled him out, he was unconscious.
