New Delhi: The government on Wednesday said firms such as Ericsson and Nokia are keen to expand their operations in India, and global companies like Samsung, Cisco, Ciena and Foxconn have shown interest to set up manufacturing base in the country for telecom and networking products for domestic and export markets. Most of the global industry leaders are keen to expand or set up manufacturing base in India and are positive about the kind of incentives proposed under the Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, said an official release outlining the status of the ambitious scheme for telecom and networking products that seeks to position India as a global hub
