Another day of desperation in the south, where historically high floodwaters continue to rise in texas. The death toll has now climbed to six, after severe storms dropped over a foot of rain in parts of houston. Virtually paralyzing the nations fourth largest city. Dozens more had to be rescued and evacuated today as nine texas counties remain under a state of emergency. We begin tonight with nbcs Janet Shamlian in one of the hardest hit communities.
