Reporter well, we do begin tonight with some good news. Police tell us this officer is expected to be okay. He should be released from the hospital tonight. In the meantime they are still looking for that driver who they say stopped for a moment then kept going. I was standing in my driveway, the officer was crossing the street right here, and i heard a big loud bam and thud.
