he wanted to bring the community and the police together. listen to what happened. he gets fired. he tries to justify what he said to the new york post. he said i was trying to show the vulnerability of all of these police officers being in the same place at the same time, which seems like a dangerous situation for anyone that is that gathered together. i respect the nypd. i do not condone violence. and that teacher worked at coney island prep and was fired. the school does not support that. there s this other guy, he was in trouble awhile back. a guy that was caught on camera saying racial slurs to an asian police officer that were really awful. and then he s allegedly posting this disturbing video where he wants to f-up police funerals. pretty scary when we have a funeral coming up in a few days. the suffolk county police president said this. when i read that back to him. anti-law enforcement sent men
he s a former cop that he would be for law and order. now a lot of that capitol that you re speaking to has been swung over to the police commissioner. if you look at that funeral, you can see the applause and who they were applauding for. that commissioner that is bilingual spoke for the men and women in blue. she s very tough on crime. she s a tough cop, a lot of people respect her. she s been side by side with the mayor. it will go to the point that the officers will put pressure on her to make some moves. the problem is you have the legislator that says everything is dead on arrival, they re not going to change the no cash bail. you have the d.a., the democrats, the new governor and the commissioner that are they re democrats, trying to work with their fellow democrats yet they re both on the opposite sides when it comes to crime. one is radical left, squad-like and the other says he s a common sense democrat. talk about common sense, christopher flanagan, the former
react. good morning. good morning. ainsley: good morning. she left out a word that she was quoting from that open set. not just racists. the op-ed said racist parents. she removed parents from her tweet. and then deleted the tweet. also in that op-ed, it said that white children are the victims. that was written by the former education secretary of virginia. so these are the allies of randi weingarten. listen, i m not surprised by this tweet, ainsley. this is who she is. this is who the teacher s unions are. if you re a good teacher out there, leave the union. the union is corrupt and the union is ruining american education. we know that. frankly, ainsley, we ve been having this conversation all weekend long. i watched pete hegseth s miseducation of america, this is conversation that we ve been having since we started our show together, the three of us.
so mightily on its police department. i want to back up to something you said. you said this is growing, this segment of the population, this idea and sentiment against cops. why do you think that is? usually not always but usually these messages are coming out of folks who are relatively young. you can tie both of these two incidents together. folks like christopher flanagan who don t seem to like cops. this is the kind of garbage being taught to kids and pushed in front of kids. up until recently parents had no clue that it was happening. so again i know i ve said it before a reminder to make sure you have conversations with your kids. you want to get in front of this kind of toxic trash that is influencing their world view. kids generally don t understand what their worldview is until they have life experience. and so the people who are in positions of power in front of them that they trust who are giving them all of this stuff
