A Caboolture South man who allegedly assaulted his brother in March causing his death has had his matters delayed after he was taken to hospital.
It is alleged Darren Adcock, 31, suffered a severe brain injury when he was punched by his brother, Christopher John Adcock, while at his niece‘s 8th birthday party in Landsborough at 4.30pm on March 11.
Mr Adcock, who was arrested in Rockhampton on March 12, was charged with grievous bodily harm – domestic violence offence and wilful damage. Christopher Adcock allegedly assaulted his brother.
He was also charged with four other offences including possessing dangerous drugs and unlawful possession of a weapon.
Mr Callaghan said he was concerned the condition could be problematic in daily tasks such as shopping at shops that have young servers. Ms Holland said procedures had been put in place at the facility where Mr Strano lived and he was not allowed to leave without being in the company of someone else. Senior Constable Hoffman said the condition could be changed so that Mr Strano had to be accompanied by a support worker who could prevent him from reoffending. The court heard Mr Strano, who was under a NDIS package, was supervised by a number of agencies and spent time with family members outside his accommodation.

Subscriber only Police were forced to chase a 41-year-old man after he ran from a car that was seen crashing into two trucks and swerving through traffic on a Coast highway, a court has heard. Steven Geoffrey Thomas was charged with obstructing police after made a run for it on March 24. Police prosecutor Lee Allan said police had previously tried to pull over a white Mercedes on Nicklin Way, Bokarina and had many calls regarding the car from concerned members of the public. It s now travelling north bound on the Bruce Highway through road works (and) said to be swerving across lanes, overtaking vehicles, and crashing into two trucks and impacting traffic cones and signs, he said.
