Arapahoe County Public Health officials held a virtual press conference Wednesday to follow up on their announcement that an Eaglecrest High School teacher died over the weekend after displaying symptoms consistent with bacterial meningitis.
Contact tracing is starting at Eaglecrest High in Aurora after Maddie Schmidt died after experiencing bacterial meningitis symptoms. The death of para-educator Judith Geoffroy appears unrelated.
