Time-consuming real estate developments usually do not bring fast money to mind, but that's the case with the recent sale of the Amazon Distribution Center in Brooklyn for almost $54 million.
Industrial Commercial Properties said it plans a 'total transformation' of the 1.3 million-square-foot property, which sits on a 185-acre site. It will include a 700,000-square-foot business park and may include a 600,000-square-foot sports and entertainment complex called the PowerPlex.
