Card s Painful Day Ends With Lead Increased

By B.A.S.S. Communications Staff Despite a slow start, a big loss and a painful injury, Brandon Card caught a Day-3 limit of 2110 And retained the lead at the Lake Fork Bassmaster Elite Series in Texas.
Entering day 3 with an 11-ounce lead over Quentin Cappo, Card bolstered his first two days weights of 27-06 and 28-01 to tally a three-day total of 77-01. Card heads into Championship Sunday with a 3-pound cushion over Cappo.
Camping in Little Caney Creek the first two days, Card spent most of his time on a shallow point he called his Hammer Hole and leveraged a shad spawn for the majority of his fish. Today, that bite proved elusive and Card had to make position and presentation changes.

Jason Christie averaged just under 11 pounds per day en route to victory at the Sabine River Bassmaster Elite Series.
By B.A.S.S. Communications Staff Sticking with a bold plan, but making key adjustments was the winning formula for Jason Christie, whose four-day total of 43-15 topped the field at the Sabine River Bassmaster Elite Series in Orange, Texas.
Claiming his sixth Bassmaster victory, Christie posted his best effort on day 1 with a 2nd-place limit of 15-01. He took over the top spot on Friday by adding 13-14 and held that position on day 3 with a limit of 6-12. He closed the deal with a final-round limit that weighed 8-04.

Despite a light bag on day 3, Jason Christie remained atop the leaderboard at the Sabine River Bassmaster Elite Series.
By B.A.S.S. Communications Staff Jason Christie had more gas than he needed and more water than he wanted, but the Oklahoma anglers three-day total of 35-11 allowed him to maintain his lead on day 3 of the Sabine River Bassmaster Elite Series in Orange, Texas.
Christie was 2nd on day 1 with 15-01 and took over the top spot Friday by adding 13-14. On Saturday, the Sabine was in a stingier mood and Christie found only a small limit of 6-12. He holds a 15-ounce lead over day-1 leader Brock Mosley.
Rodman Run Gives Walters Lead At St. Johns

By B.A.S.S. Communications Staff For three days, the question lingered: Would Rodman Reservoir play a significant role in the St. Johns River Bassmaster Elite Series. On day 3, Patrick Walters erased any doubt with a five-bass limit of 26-07 that gave him the lead with a three-day total of 58-10.
Walters will enter the final round with a 3-ounce lead over Greg Hackney.
Rodman didnt play two years ago, and it didnt play last year because (it was in a drawdown). So, I thought it has to be good this year, Walters said. I flipped a coin on it and it worked.
