El Dorado opened its softball season in exciting fashion with an 8-7 win over Magnolia in a benefit game Tuesday at the El Dorado-Union County Recreation Complex. The Lady Wildcats scored a run in the bottom of the seventh to break a 7-7 tie.
It seemed as though Raielynn Fudge would be El Dorado’s starting shortstop forever. Despite starting since as a freshman, Fudge already dreamed of playing softball after high school.
